How Healshape aims to transform breast reconstruction

In 2020, Sophie Brac de la Perrière co-founded Healshape, alongside Caroline Durand and Amélie Thepot, amongst others. The Lyon-based start-up has developed a revolutionary natural prosthesis for women who have undergone a mastectomy following breast cancer. The start-up is now preparing to launch its first clinical trial and is therefore seeking to raise 9 million euros.

A simple solution for breast reconstruction.

A natural breast prosthesis, created using a 3D printing process, which enables the breast to regenerate: this is the revolutionary concept developed by Healshape, a Lyon-based start-up co-founded in 2020 by Sophie Brac de la Perrière, formerly of Sanofi-Pasteur, and Caroline Durand, Amélie Thepot, Morgan Dos Santos, Luciano Vidal and Christophe Marquette, who hold a patent for bioprinting.
